ATTACK RESUMED.

FOURTH SUCCESSIVE NIGHT. INDISCRIMINATE BOMBING. (From DaventryJ • For the fourth successive night the Germans are bombing London. The attack began soon alter the fall of darkness, and bombs are dropping incessantly, though at first the attack was not so severe. At midnight it was in full swing, and London’s defences were fully in action. The sound of heavy reverberations and the whistle of bombs were heard, and the glow of fifes was visible in one or two quarters. The sirens sounded five times in the London area on Tuesday. Up to midnight no communique had been issued, and there had been no announcement of the casualties.

“The last shadow of military excuse for the raids has disappeared,” stated a commentator.
