BOMBING OF HARBOURS

(Rcc. 10.55 a.m.) BERLIN, Sept. 10. A communique states: “Fighter squadrons to-day continued tlieir devastating reprisals against military targets in London. Bombs were scattered on docks, harbours, gas, water and electricity works, warehouses and oiJ depots. The Tires were visible from a great distance and gave direction to our formations. Harbour works o„ the West Coast of England and the East Coast of Scotland were also attacked. The enemy lost 44 planes. Twenty-one of ours are missing, home enemy vessels approached the French coast in hazy weather last night and fired a few salvoes at random. No damage was done.’
