IMPORT LICENSES.
LIKELY TO COVER YEAR. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 10. The schedules for the filth period import licenses are expected to be issued throughout the Dominion within a fortnight, and it is generally anticipated that the period to be covered will be a vear, instead of six months. The extension will be welcomed in commercial circles, where greater elasticity is needed, also in departmental offices, where t'he changes resulting from the war have thrown an added burden ori the Customs officials.
