(From Our Own Correspondent.) BUNNYTHORPE, Sept. 9. The Women’s Institute held iis annual dance recently, when there _ was a very large gathering. Tho committee had all arrangements well in hand lo cope with it. The duties of M.P. were carried out by Mr It. Sinclair. At the monthly meeting of tho School Committee there were present Messrs F. McKenzie (chairman); W. G. Hanson, C. Harries, C. W. White, 1,. Pascoe,- JStevens, and F. Egglcton. The headmaster (Mr Abraham) reported a -roll of 109 and an average attendance of 89. The visit lug* committee reported on tho grounds anti Messrs Harries and McKenzie "ere appointed the committee for the month. The report on the annual ball showed it eaii-s----faetory balance. A (report on tho lawn was fully considered and was held over until next meeting.

At tho last euchre tournament prizes were won by Mrs .A. 1-1. Faulkner and Mrs Clieetham (a tie) and Air T. Clark.
