WINTER SHOW OPENS
MANY OUTSTANDING DISPLAYS WAR-TIME LESSON- IN PRODUCTION
Symbolical of tlie spirit of British people to carry on business as usual under the most difficult conditions, the Manawatu and. West Coast A. and P. Association’s 38tli Winter Show opened to-day with a total number of entries only a few below that of last year’s fixture, but greater than the number for the 1938 Show. The exhibition is of a high standard and affords a fine example of stimulated'production in war time. The weather was dull and show ery.
