CONFUSION REIGNS
IN GERMAN LINES. R.A.E. SUCCESSES. _ PARIS, June 10. The official spokesman said the latest information wrfs that no bombs had been dropped on Paris 01* suburbs y on Sunday. The nearest bombs were lo miles from the outskirts ot-Paris. During daylight raids ov£p Bresffi and the Somme region 'the RIA.F. scattered transport columns, bombed lines of tanks, armoured cars, and motor lorries, machine-gunned troops, silenced anti-aircraft batteries, and blew up a petrol dump. They also caused chaos at many points behind the enemy lines. Some planes came down to louit and raked their objectives with ma-cliiiie-guns, causing great confusion. On one occasion the mere appearance of the raiders threw the enemy into confusion, aild a detachment of cavalry stampeded /bn the approach of the lintisli ’planes. - J R.A.F. machines also set fire to an oil Storage plant in the Valenciennes area and spread fires to marshalling yards near Essen, Duron, and Euskirchen. They blocked the mouth ot a tunnel at Vise and demolished a railway bridge.
