CLOUDY AND UNSETTLED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 8. An extensive depression is advancing on to the Dominion from the Tasman Sea, the lowest pressure being in the south. There will be moderate to strong'northerly winds with a change to southerly possible after about 24 hours. The weather will be cloudy and unsettled with intermittent rain or drizzle, with temperatures moderate to mild and seas moderate but rising. THE RAINFALL. The rainfall recorded at the Boys’ High School for the 24' hours ended at 9 o’clock this morning was ,03in. RIVER GAUGE. Noon. —3ft 6in.
