A S Hamilton spoke to cil after which this resolution nas adopted: ‘ r That the couucd pledges enthusiastic support of the efforts Mr Hamilton to achieve national U 1 Colonel "Weston haying intimated Ids intention of relinquishing the p - enev of the party, references were made by divisional representatives to the great work carried out_ by tne retiring president since the .inception of the party. His great ability and tact were stated to have contributed in a verv large measure to the formation and organisation of the party.
