AlcCorkindale intimated on Thursday that the women’s organisations of the Patriotic Society in Feilding were pre--pared to respond to tho appeal for comforts for the Navy and the Lady Galway Guild, and already- work had commenced both in the town' and country areas. A meeting is to bo called shortly to further organise tho effort in connection with the repairing of clothing prior to its despatch Airs AlcCorkindale stated that she would give any. advice or information required. Church’ Services. The Alcthodist Church at Feilding is holding its 64t.h anniversary on Sunday and' Monday. The newly-appointed minister, Rev. W. T. Blight, will conduct all three services, and special music will be rendered by the choir. On the Alonday evening the anniversary social will be hold, when a musical programme will be submitted, and an address will be delivered by Rev. C.- Eaton, an ex-president of the Conference. It is hoped that the offerings at these services will enable the final payment to be made on the new Sunday school building.
