DUNEDIN’S RESPONSE. - Per Press Association. , ■ DUNEDIN, June 7. To-day a special effort on behalf of the Red' Cross resulted in between £3OOO and £4OOO being collected. Mystery paicels and a sixpenny art union with a new motor-car as the prize resulted in a return of more than £3OOO and a community sing realised approximately £430. The effort made to bring Dunedin’s total collections to £35,000 by the endy of'this week has now beer, more than fulfilled, the total being fully £36,000.
