CHANGE AT MOSCOW. MOSCOW, June 6. The Soviet lias informed France that no objection will be raised to the appointment of M. Erik Labonne as Ambassador, replacing M. Naggiar, who has been absent six months from Moscow., -. jVI. Erik Labonne. a French diplomatist, wan born in 1888. He lias been a member of the Diplomatic Service since'l9l3. He. went to Russia as a member of a commission in 1917, and was Counsellor to Moscow in 1925, and General Secrelarv of the French-Soviet Conference in 1926. From 1931 to 1933 he was Minister to Mexico. Mi. Entile Naggiar, who was born in 1883, lias, been a member of the French Diplomatic Service since 1908. He was Consul,General 1 in Montreal in’ 1921., and wan Director of French Works in 1924. In 1925 lie was Consul-General in' Shanghai. Ho .was Minister for Foreign Affairs in 1927, and was Ambassador to China in 1936. He later became Ambassador to the Soviet.
