PAREWANUI INSTITUTE.

At the monthly meeting of the Parcwanui Institute Mrs Whitehead presided. One now member, Miss Parker, was nominated. The motto was given by Mies Osborne and a splendid report on the council meeting hold at_ Fcilding was given by Miss Russell, ‘for which she was accorded thanks. It was .decided to continue with the card evenings. Art felt work was demonstrated' by Mrs Osborne, for which Mrs Anderson expressed thanks. Competition results were: Bloom, Mrs Russell 1; smocked aprons, Miss Osborne 1, Mrs Osborne 2, Mrs Anderson 3. At the July meeting Mcsdames Bowen j and Rogers will be the hostesses.
