HONEY AND WALNUT ROLL. Shred 4oh suet finely 'and add it to -Jib self-raising flour and a pinch salt. Form into a dough with enough cold water to make a soft dough. Roll out into an oblong shape and spread with the following mixture : Heat in saucepan, add 2oz Goft white breadcrumbs, \ cup each chopped walnuts, coconut, and sultanas. Serve,with honey heated with a little lemon juice. This can be cooked in a round cake-tin in layers. |
