SATURDAY’S MATCHES. UNITED TO MEET KIA TOA. Much interest will be taken in the meeting ot United and Kia Tea on tlie Shcnvgruunds oval on Saturday at 2.45 p.m. in the Manawatu Rugby Union’s' senior competition. United lia\e so tar proved themselves an outstanding team and their lorwurds have matched those of other sides, even though they are lighter. Furthei, United have always provided a good game for the spectators. Kia Toa, while they have not won the same number of matches as United, may easily upset the latter and the match should be well worth seeing. The curtain-raiser will be provided by Air Force and Old Boy 6. The Air Force side are a most pojiular ‘one, as they present the style of play enjoyed by the public. Old Boys should keep them working hard and the result should be an interesting contest. At tlie rear of the main stand St. Patrick’s, ivho played such a fine game last Saturday, will be matched with Feilding Old Boys at 2.45 p.m. This should bo a hard-fought match. University and Foilding are to play at Johnston Park, Feilding, at 2.45 p.m. Feilding have been' playing very fine football this season and University should have a strong combination in the field, now that the students have returned from vacation.
