MOTOR DRIVERS’ LICENSES. To date the Feilding Bqrough Council has issued 860 motor drivers licenses. Last year the total number of licenses issued was approximately 1200. Basketball. Basketball teams for Saturday are Old Girls A: Mieses J. Simms, N. Williamson, N. Heap, E. Raynor, L. Coleman, A. Raynor, O. Arrived, J. Fawcett, and D. Burgess; emergency. Miss J. Nees. Old Girls B: Misses S. Pearpoint, D. Wackrow, \ Amyes, N. Patterson, E.. Short, A. Hooper, P. McElroy, M. Walton, and Mrs Prendagest; emergency, Mies M. McDowall. Hockey. The Feilding Hockey Association s fixtures for Saturday 'are: Martori v. Kia Ora, at Oncpuhi 3 p.m.; Huia v. wanderers, at Feilding 3-p.m. ; Harriers. „ The local harriers will be engaged in a pack run round the Makmo block on Saturday at 2.15 p.m. Red Cross. . .. Those interested in sewing and makin 0 comforts for Red Cross hospital work arc invited to attend a mooting in fat. Jotin = kindergarten hall on Friday at 2 p.m.
