PATRIOTIC SHOP.
The patriotic shop in Palmerston North is still doing very good business. Last week the shop was conducted as a. com-, billed effort, the. Russell Street School, with Mrs D. Rabone as leader, having the first three days, and the Girls’ Music Club (Miss E. Rawlins) the latter part. Mi's 11. M. Scott, with the Technical School old girls, took Friday night as usual. Results were: Russell Street School, £24 17s sd: Technical School old girls, ill 16s Ojid; Girls’ Music Club, £27 8s Did: a total of £54- Os 6d. . The executive appreciates the enthusiasm of tiie organisations taking part in this effort, also the increasing interest 6liown by the public. C. Trask was the -winner of Child Bros.’ bag of coal.
