FREEZING WORKERS HELP. A SUBSTANTIAL DONATION. Tile substantial amount of £204 16s Id lias been gratefully received from the company, the staff and the workers of the Longburn freezing works as their King’s Birthday effort. This amount must l>e considered very satisfactory, since the number of men working has been reduced by 60, due to seasonal conditions and also the changing of the holiday to a working day.
