Mrs Alan Bibby, of Onga Onga, Hawke’s Bay, is visiting her parents, Mr and 51m T. F. Fitz Gerald, of Campbell Street. Mr and Mrs Basil Porter, who have been visiting Wellington, have returned home to Feilding.
An old resident of Wanganui, 51 r E. 11. Morgan, Aramoho, died on Monday, aged 85. He was the oldest Druid in New Zealand. Mrs J. W. Masters, of Feilding. is a daughter. Mr and Airs W. Iteid, Alakino, Feilding, celebrated the silver anniversary of their wedding at Halcombe last week, when following a short and impressive service in the Lutheran Church, which was effectively decorate ed in silver for the occasion, the congregation adjourned to the Halcombe Jubilee Hall where festivities were continued. Novel games and competitions .were indulged in by a large attendance of relatives and friends. Rev. H. H. Te Punga presented Mr and Airs Reid with a silver tea service. A handsome wedding cake, the gift of Airs R. Davies, was cut and distributed to the guests.
