i Five riders started on Saturday m a. 35-mile road raoo, conducted by the Foxton Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club. The race was from Foxton through Shannon and Levin, and homo again. The result .is:—R. Simpson (30scc.), 1; J. Satherley (smin.), 2; D.Hussey (2min.), 3. Fastest time: R. Simpson. R. Doreen, one of. the club's most enthusiastic riders, suffered severe > injuries to his shoulder, received in a fall at the conclusion of Saturday’s race.
