WOODVILLE SALE.
Abraham and Williams. Ltd., report a small yarding of sheep and a capacity, yarding of cattle at the Woodvillo sale on Monday. The demand for both' sheep and cattle was sound, with values ruling fully up to those in other centres. In tho offering of cattle were several trucks of good prime P.A. cows which met with keen competition, being finally knocked down to Wellington butchers. Quota, tions: —Fat sheep: Maiden ewes, extra prime, 235; fat ewes, 18s, 19s, 20s to 225; ewe hoggets, 18s, 19s, 20s to 225. Cattle: Fat cows and heifers ex the dairy, £5, £5 ss, £5 10s, £6. to £6 ss; prime P.A. cows, £6 10s. £7 10s, to £7 15s, springing cows, £7, £7 10s, £7 15s, £B, £8 ss. £8 15s: wnr. Hereford steers, £2. £2 2s 6d, £2 5s to £2 11s; 2i-yr. P.A. steers; £5 10s, £5 15s, £5 19s to £6; &iyr. P.A. steers, £6 16s, £7 to £7 ,Bs.
