SECRET SESSION
BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, 'plans discussed. (Bv Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON, June 4. The arrangements for the secret session of Parliament to-morrow were discussed to-day by the’ Prime Minister, the Leader of the Opposition, Mr Speaker, and the whips or both, parties. It is understood the basis of discussion will be on three reports tabled last week on defence, man-power, and supply. The anticipations are that 'the Ministers will supply the. House with certain important details to supplement the information already made public. Much informative data is expected to be available in tho course of answers to members’ questions. The House of Representatives will meet as usual at 2.30 for the disposal of formal business. Afterwards, the House, having adopted certain resolutions as to persons other than members of both branches of the Legislature who. will be permitted to attend, will then be cleared of all officers, strangers, messengers, and the Press. The proceedings will be conducted behind closed and guarded doors.
