SAVAGE CLUB.
The first korcro of the Manawatu Savage Club for the present year was held in the Foresters’ Hall on Saturday night, when Rangatira G. Clapcott was installed as chief for the coming season. There was a good attendance of members and a programme, supplied by the following artists was thoroughly enjoyed: Savages Thompson, C. McAffer, G. ’Whitelock, G. Dawson, B. Johnston, A. Sundborn, D. Adams, IT. Woodhouse, and J. Looker. Members expressed themselves as being vbry satisfied with the prospects for a successful season.
