Exports of iron and steel and iron and steel goods from Australia continue to increase, because of the demano in Eastern countries and. Neiv Zealand for these goods, Avhich cannot be obtained from European Avorkshops. For the nine months ended March 31, the value of iron and steel exports was £4-450,000. This is an increase of £3,095,000. or about 200 per cent, compared with, the figures for the coiresponding period of last year.
