(British Official .Wireless.) RUGBY, May 31. The King has given orders for the appointment to the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire of PilotOfficer E. A. Wickenkamp, R.A.F., who has since beeiiVreported missing, believed killed in action. The appointment was made for “gallantry, promptitude and disregard of his own life when the aircraft in which he was second pilot crashed/ and hurst into flames.” - Twenty-eight officers of the R.A.F. have been awarded the D.F.O. for “gallantry and devotion to duty in the execution of air operations.” Seventeen awards of the D.F.M. have also been made. Again the Dominions are well represented and the list includes four Canadian officers, two from Australia and one from. .New Zealand.
