To-morrow night the Palmerston North branch of the Junior Labour Party will conduct a further fortnightly dance in the Cosmopolitan Hall. The Revellers’ Band . will supply modern and old-time dance music. The programme will again include a number of novelties. Owing to the very large attendances at the previous dances the committee have provided for extra supper catering. Refreshments and facilities for checking hats and coats will bq_ available. The June Scott School of Dancing will present a ballet. The subscriptions and “no pass out” rule will remain the same as usual.
Anything that helps to uplift the spirits is welcome. To the smart woman, a definite cheer germ comes with the possession of smart clothes. And smart clothes are readily obtainable from our dress section. Do you favour velvets? We have a complete stock of this cheerful evening fabric in black (which is always so strikingly becoming) from 9s lid to lfis lid per yard.
