KING IN DISGRACE.

ACTION AGAINST LEOPOLD. BELGIAN LEGISLATORS MEET. Received Juno 1, 12.10 p.m. PARIS, May 31. While the Belgian Parliament was sitting at Limoges it was officially announced that King Leopold had been struck from the rolls of the French Legion of Honour, of which lie- held the Order of the Grand .Cross. The meeting of Parliament was the occasion of a demonstration of gratitude to France. The President of the Senate (M. Cillon) confirmed that a number of Belgian units had disobeyed the King and placed themselves alongside the northern Allied armies. The Premier (M. Pierlot) said: “We will only lay down arms when wo have regained peace, independence and freedom.” The Parliamentarians unanimously supported the Government’s attitude that it was juridically and morally impossible for Leopold to reign.
