RIBBENTROP’S THREATS.
FRENCH REJOINDER. PARIS, May 31. The German Foreign Minister (Herr von Ribbentrop) through the Swedish Government, has formally forwarded a Note to the, French Government alleging ill-treatment of German airmen in prisons and threatening severe countermeasures.l' ' 1 ■ ■ ■ The French Ministrv nf Information has issued a formal denial and added that if reprisals were taken on the pretext of the allegations the French will reply similarly.
