MONEY MARKET RATES.
LONDON, May 15. The Bank of England rate of discount is unchanged at 2 per cent. Discount and short loan rates on the London market compare with those of May 8 (in parentheses! as follows Day to day lonns, 3 p.c. (2 p.c.); fine trade bills (3mos.). 2'i to 3 p.c. (2£ to 3 p.c.); bank bills (3mos.), 1 1-16 p.c. (1 1-16 p.c.); bank bills t6mos.), 1 1-8 p.c. (1 1-8 p.c.); treasury bills (2mos.), 1 p.c. (1 p.c.); treasury bills- (3mos.), 1 p.c. (1 p.c.). NEW YORK, May 15. Call money is unchanged at 1 per cent.
East Coast Killings. An increase of 20 per cent in slieop and lamb killings this reason, compared with last, reflects an improvement in (he fat stock season in the Gisborno district. Cattle and pigs, however ,• show a decline.
