ASHHURST SALE. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on the Ashhurst sale: A medium entry of sheep of all classes camo forward and met with a. ready sale throughout at values quite on a par with other recent sales. A largo offering of cattle of all classes met with a ready sale. In tho offering of cattle was a complete line of daify cows off lull country which sold under keen competition, tho complete herd avering £lO. Several good all-round farm horses were also offered. Those also met with keen competition, selling as high as £34. A largo array of implements and sundries sold fully up to late rales. Quotations:Sheep: Fat wethers, 245, 24s 3d, 26s 2d; fat ewes, 15s. 16s, 16s lOd; fat lambs, 19s lOd, 21s 6d, 22s 9d to 23s 9d. Store sheep: Aged ewes r.w. S.P. ram, 13s Bd, 14s, 14s 6d 15s 3d to 16s; fattening ewes, 11s 6d, 12s, 12s 6d, 13s 6d. Cattle: Fat cows, £4 10s, £4 15s, £5, £5 ss, £5 10s. £5 15s, £6 to £6 15s; boner cows, £2 10s,£2 15s, £3, £3 10s, £3 15s; cows on account of a client, £8 10s, £9, £9 10s, £lO, £lO 10s, £ll, £ll 10s. £l2, £l2 ss, £l2 10s to £l3 the whole guaranteed cows averaged £10; weaner .Jersey heifers, £u ss, £3 10s, £3 15s, £4, to £4 ss.
