NEW DUTCH FORCE
FORMATION IN BELGIUM. GERMANS ENTER THE HAGUE. (British Official Wireless.) Received Mav 16, ]0.5 a.m. RUGBY, May 15. The Ministry of Information announces: "It is learned from an authoritative Dutch source that certain contingents of Dutch troops have be-en thrown back from Southern Holland into Belgium. These units will be reassembled without loss of time in order to serve as the nucleus of a new Dutch military force., the formation of which has' been ' immediately taken into consideration by the Netherlands Government in London." A Press Association message says the Dutch radio (probably now German controlled) • reported the entry of German motorised troops at The Hague et 8 a.m. The demobilisation of the Dutch forces is in full swing. Quietness is reported throughout the city. The Berlin radio reports that Hitler has conferred the Knighthood of the Iron Cross on the commander of the •parnchnth.t division, GeneralLieutenant Student, and the commander of the airborne troops division. General-Lieutenant Count Sponek, for meritorious service in crushing the Dutch resistance.
