PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES.
WARTIME BROADCASTS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 14. Discussing the question of broadcasting the Parliamentary proceedings in tile coming session, Hon. P. Fraser said that, in view of the war conditions, the broadcasting of all the debates. including those associated with New Zealand’s war effort, constituted a difficulty because of the risk of information useful to the enemy being broadcast beyond these shores. He had no doubt, however, that the commonsense of Parliament would overcome the difficulty. The broadcasting of Parliament had been most popular and it would constitute a real hardship if it were terminated or even suspended. He believed arrangements could be made that would be satisfactory and safe.
