AIRMAN TO MARRY.

Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 14. The distinguished New Zealand airman, Flying-Officer E. J. Kain, D.F.C., who is attached to a fighter squadron of the Royal Air Force in France, is to be married in July, according to a cablegram from his English fiancee, Miss Joyce Phillips, received by his parents, Mr and Mrs R. G. Kain, of Wellington. They have been visiting Auckland, and on receipt of the news of her son's coining marriage' Mrs Kain said she wished that it were possible for her to attend the ceremony. Miss Phillips is a repertory actress.
