OROUA SUB-UNION. Heavy rain during last week made the football field at Wait mi a very boggy for the match between Rangiwahia and AVaituna on Saturday. T'lie teams, however, soon became reconciled to the unfavourable conditions and the match developed into a keen struggle, with AVaituna securing the honours by 12 points to 8. Air R. Aleads carried the whistle, and the scorers were: For AVaituna, Coley, • Creswell, Sowerby, Cummings; for Rangiwahia, 11. Booker and L. Thompson, the latter converting Booker’s try.
