DURBAN; May 10. The Natal Mercury urges the formation of an Empire Cabinet committee in London comprising a. member from each Dominion Cabinet under tlie presidency of the Dominions Secretary (Mr R. A. Eden). Tlie committee would deal with broad issues of Empire policy, its rocoinmendations being passed oil to the "War. Council through Mr Eden and the British, AYar Cabinet; “Such a committee would' afford the people of the Dominions the satisfaction of knowing that their views were being voiced in the proper quarters and dispel the fears existing . among the Dominions that tlieir fate is entirely in the hands of Whitehall)”
