BRITISH BY-ELECTION
(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 10. The East Renfrew by-election resulted:— Major E. G. Lloyd (Con.) 34,316; Miss Annie Maxton (Independent Labour Party), a sister of the member of the House of Commons, Mr J. T. Maxton, 8206. The election was due to the succession of the Marquess of Clydesdale to the Dukedom of Hamilton.
