HARRIERS.
The Feilding harriers’ three-mile run on Saturday resulted in a win for L. Bayner. A field of moderate size faced the starter. There was a close finish between the winner and G. Whittaker. Tl. Lamberton was third and L. Moore fourth. Meehan, Strawbridge and Evans retired. Details: L. Rayner, 25.25 3-5, 1; G. Whittaker, 22.2, 2; It. Lamberton, 19.29 2-5, 3; L. Moore, 27.40, 4.
