Further, the Jubilee Cup changed hands 'as a result of the encounter. While the groilnds were soft, they were not muddy or greasy,. Sunshine and wind during the earlier'part of the day dried the surface excellently, and the bright sunshine for the earlv part of the afternoon made pleasajit conditions for the spectators. The attendance at the Showgrounds was not as large as on the opening day.
