Mrs S. J. Parkes, of Main Street, is visiting New ■ Plymouth. Miss Laura Montgomery, of Broadway, is visiting Auckland. Mrs G. Sliirtcliffe, of Wellington, is visiting her mother, Mrs G. Lyons, of 'College Street. . Mrs J. Cummings, of Auckland, is spending a few days in Palmerston North. Mrs J. T. Bosworth, of Fitzhcrbert Avenue, returned home to-day from Auckland. Mr and Mrs E. Davidson Woollen are spending a few da vs with Mr and. Mrs Ernden, of Lower Hutt. Miss W. Anderson, of Hataitai, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs D. H. Cook, of Carlton Avenue. Miss 13. Wood, who is entering the Wellington Hospital next month to train for the nursing profession, was accorded the good wishes of the members of St. Peter’s Mothers’ Union at their meeting yesterday, and their thanks for her assistance in entertaining. • * Among the debutantes at the 21st birthday ball of Queen Margaret College, held in Wellington last night, was Miss Rosemary Small, daughter of Mr and Mrs C. A. Small, of Palmerston North. Prior to the ball Mrs Small was hostess with several other mothers of debutantes at a combined dinner party.
