ELECTION OE OFFICERS. WELLINGTON, May It. The returning officers lor ihe New Zealand Workers’ Union have announced the results for elective positions for the 1940-11 period. The successful candidates for the main positions are as follow :—National president, Mr R. Eddy (Wellington) (reelected!; national vice-president, Mr A. Wathe.v (Gisborne) ; general secretary, Mr A. Cook (Wellington) (reelected) ; delegates to conference, Messrs H. Caldwell (Inangahna), W. Coppersmith (Greymouth), F. J. Burnell (Blenheim), J. Wright (Upper Moutere), H. Cameron (Dunedin), A. A. De Vantier (Alexandra), J. R. Harrison (Hollyford). H. McCahon (Paritu), H. Maynard (Manutuke), G. Bravery (Whangarei), F. L. Fenton (Auckland), F. E. Lark (Auckland), W. Brooker (Paid Paki), A.
