OHURA TRAGEDY.

SURVIVORS’ SEVERE ORDEAL. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, May 9. No trace has yet been found of the three men missing in Monday’s river tragedy. The search by settlers and the police continues. The river boat Ohurn, whose capsize caused the tragedy, is _ lying upside down and salvage work is expected to start to-morrow. The two survivors, Captain Anderson and his nephew, had a gruelling ordeal before they reached help. Captain Anderson wearing only a singlet. He is now in hospital suffering from exposure.
