BATTERY INSPECTED.

LIEUT.-COL. LYON’S VISIT. At the parade of tho Btli Field Battery, N.Z.A., on Tuesday, the unit was inspected by Lieutenant-Colonel G. Lyon, M.C., E.D., Brigade Commander. The other members of the party were Major H. M. MuscroftTay.lor (District Artillery Officer) and Lieutenant H. C. F. Petersen, R.N.Z.A. After the inspection Major Muscroft-Taylor explained the new organisation of tile artillery. Later Lieutenant-Colonel Lyon said the local battery had looked very well on parade, and he was sure that the unit would live up to the high standard set it by its previous members. He also congratulated those men who have enlisted for service with the Special Force.
