(From ' Our Own Correspondent.) MILSON, May 8: At the meeting ,of householders there was a record attendance. The headmaster (Mr McEwon), in his report, emphasised the point of the school roll being down to 102. Mr Wishnoski spoke eulogising Mr McEwen’s good work. Those remarks Wore endorsed by Mr Hoskins. Mr, Bennetto took the chair for the election of the new committee, which resulted in the. return of Messrs 11. Benton, F. Collet, .T. Eaton, W. Hoskins, J. L. Johnston, L. G. Robertson and N. Terry. At the monthly meeting of the Milson Women s Institute thcro was a good attendance. Mrs Moxharn was welcomed as a new member. Mrs Murphy was chosen as delegate to the Dominion conference if it is hold. Tfie hospital visitors arc Mesdamcs Johnston and Brookfield. Mrs Dymock read a,n interesting letter from the president of the Lingwood Institute, •in the .Isle of Wight. Mr Holder gave an interesting talk on “Milk in Schools” and “Food Testing.’ Mrs Bingham, the new convenor of the Glee Club, rendered two solos. Competitions were won by Mesdamcs Pratt and U. Richardson. Floral competitions were:— Best bloom, cluster, Mrs James 1, Mrs Whyte 2, Mrs Ward 3: single, Mrs Anderson 1, Mrs James 2, Mrs Dymock 3. Chrysanthemums, 3 large, Mrs A. Smith L Airs Faulditig 2 and 3; three small, Mrs Dymock 1. Vase of flowers, for effect only, Mrs 'Ward 1. Mrs Dymock 2. The hostesses for next mqnth are Mcsdames Wilton, Wilkins, Whittaker, Wislmowski, Williams, Ward, Young. Anccll. Arlidgc,Askew, Albrecht, Brill, Brookfield, Brace, Bcnnctto, Ashworth, F. Anderson. Another successful euchre party was held by the Milson Labour Party. The winners were Mr Johansen and Mrs Tit. Diggins.
