THEFT OF JEWELLERY.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May S. A smash and grab raid was perpetrated to-night on one ;of the jewellery windows of Timewell and Company, Wyndham Street. A large plate-glass window was broken- by-a piece of concrete about the size of a brick; a hole was made almost in the centre of the window, and the glass display trays inside were also smashed. Practically all, the contents of the window were stolen so that all that was left on display were a couple of de.ntcd clocks and tho large missile used to smash the window, »- , r
