REDUCED CHARGE.

ADMISSION TO SHOWS. A decision to make a reduction to allow for a standardised charge for admittance to the Spring and Winter Shows was made at a meeting of the general committee of the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association. The finance committee in its report recommended that the gate charges be Is 6d for both Shows. This was adopted after considerable discussion in committee. The charge of Is at night will remain as formerly. A recommendation was carried, on the motion of Mr A. C. Morton, that the charges adopted be maintained for three years.
