PREMIER’S ENUNCIATION. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 6. In a message to the National Gov eminent candidate in the East Renfrewshire by-election, Mr Chamberlain says the issue involved in the war is clear. “Our enemies have shown they will hesitate at nothing to ‘bring about the destruction cf the British Empire, which stands between them and their avowed goal-—world domination. Our aim is to win peace, freedom, and security alike for ourselves, our Allies, and the threatened- nations of Europe,’’ declares the Premier.
