BERLIN ADMISSION. HEAVY ENEMY LOSSES. Received May 8, 11 30 a.m. .LONDON, May 7. The German Official News Agency admits increased British and French pressure at Narvik and claims tnat German troops proceeding northward for the relief •of the Narvik garrison have reached Mosjon (aoout 200 miles' south of Narvik). Norwegian headquarters deny liiis, declaring that no German soldier has crossed the border between North Trondelag and the Nordland provinces. Swedish messages maintain that the Norwegians are stoutly resisting the German forces northward of Trondheim. The majority of a German battalion are reported to have been wiped out ill a narrow pass northward of Roros (in Central Norway). Another report says several thousand Germans have been killed in Norway. Many wounded are reaching Oslo, where mass graves have been dug in the cemeteries. According to tlie German wireless seven large and ten smaller Norwegian warships have been requisitioned tor coastguard purposes.
