ITALIAN ATTITUDE.
DEFINITION DESIRED. ROME REPORT DENIED. Received Mav 8, 0 a.m. * ROME, May 7. According to authoritative diplomatic circles Britain has asked Italy to define her exact position regarding the war and to reply before May 16. The British Embassy has no knowledge of the report. It is officially denied in London that Britain lias asked for a definition of the Italian attitude.
