MEETING IN JUNE. WAR POLICY UPPERMOST. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 6. While not being able to give th« exact date of reassembly of Parliament, Hon. P. Fraser, who. is making his first visit to. Auckland since lie became Prime Minister, said lie expected the House would meet, comparatively eaiiy in June. The date would be announced, he said, on his return, to Wellington Asked what legislation was. * , ™j )oSe f; Mr Fraser said the deliberations of Parliament would inevitably nated by the war situation, and all matters affecting, the war would be discussed, including many questions a fecting , economic and financial conations. It would be necessary to bring all these questions under review ana introduce any legislation needed to give effect to the Government’s policy. “Obviously the international and war situation will largely determine the course of proceedings in the House of Representatives, and I am certain the Government will receive the full and unanimous support of Parliament in everything it lias/lone to assist the British Commonwealth in the fight tor democracy ■ and international justice; Mr Fraser concluded.
