RUGBY FOOTBALL
HOROWHENUA UNION. The results of Saturday’s Rugby football matches played in the llorowhemia Union’s competitions-arc:—Air Force A 14 v. Foxton 9; Kuku-Manakau 55 v. Air Force B 5; United 9 v. Wanderers 3; Athletic 12 x'. Shannon 3. The senior championship points are:—Air Force A 7; United and Shannon 5 each: Foxton. Kuku-Manakau. and Athletic 4 each; ’Wanderers 2; and Air Force B 1. In the match against Shannon, tries were scored for Athletic by Bateman, A. Fletcher, and O’Donnell. O’Donnell also kicked a penally goal. For Shannon, A. Woods kicked a penalty goal. Tries were scored by Johnson, and Dustin for Otaki in their march against Wanderers. Huff also kicked a penalty goal for Otaki; and C. Peranuti kicked one for ■Wanderers.
