Forecast.—Moderate to strong southerly winds, reaching gale force at times in exposed positions. Weather: Fair in the west, otherwise cold and changeable, with occasional passing showers, and some sno\v on the ranges. Seas moderate inshore on the westcoast, elsewhere rough to very rough.
